Description

hatsutoki offers a line of original parasols crafted from high-quality fabrics—the same kind used in their apparel. Irregular remnants inevitably remain during the cutting process; rather than allowing these beautiful materials to go to waste, they have been reimagined into these versatile bags. Inheriting the water-repellent finish from the parasols, the outer fabric is remarkably durable and reliable for daily use.

The interior is lined with delicate cotton lawn repurposed from deadstock fabric. The drawstring features the signature round wooden and metal tips used in the parasols, finished with a beautiful tassel made from Banshu-ori warp threads—each one meticulously handcrafted by artisans.

Designed to be the perfect size for your daily essentials, it comfortably accommodates your mobile phone, wallet, sunglasses, a notebook, or a favourite book.

Note: The tassel threads are treated with traditional starch. Washing them in lukewarm water removes the starch, softening the texture of the fabric.
